Verifiable facts, not a biography

This sheet must be identical in the footer, the legal notice, the API and the JSON-LD. A mismatched SIREN, date or price is enough to lose the pass at a coherent entity engine's resolution step.

Why this page exists

An "about" page is not a biography.

It's the page that lets a human, Google and an AI answer five questions without guessing: who produces the site, from where, since when, with what means, and how to verify it.

WebConsulting isn't a 12-person agency with a salesperson, a project manager and an integrator. It's a solo studio. The upside is real: you talk to the person who scopes, writes, codes and ships. The limit is real too: capacity is finite, projects are filtered, replies aren't instant.

If you're after a WordPress factory, an account manager and a Slack channel that answers on Sunday, this isn't the right fit.

Who actually does the work?

Benjamin M. is the sole producer of every WebConsulting site.

He designs the architecture, writes or structures the content depending on the plan, builds the HTML/CSS, adds the markup, deploys on o2switch and handles the follow-up defined in the contract.

There's no hidden subcontracting "for design" or "for SEO." If a project falls outside scope — complex e-commerce, SaaS, marketplace, custom app — it gets turned down rather than quietly outsourced.

The approach is faceless: the site foregrounds the offer, the proof and the method, not a portrait. The founder's name appears here because a French business has to be identifiable, not to build a personal brand.

Since when

Two dates, deliberately kept apart

2013 — Registration

The sole proprietorship was registered with the RCS Dijon trade registry, SIREN 791 747 389. That's legal existence. It is not "years of WebConsulting agency."

March 2026 — Public activity

Public launch of the activity under the WebConsulting / SurDijon brand, with delivered sites, published prices and indexed pages. The studio is therefore young. Saying so avoids manufacturing fake authority.

Honest consequence

The volume of reviews and case studies is still small. Existing named reviews are published; anonymous testimonials are refused. Padding reviews to "look bigger" would destroy this page's one advantage: it's verifiable.

What the studio does

What does WebConsulting do — and refuse to do?

WebConsulting sells a showcase website that can be found, understood and contacted. The model is rental: one-time setup, monthly fee, maintenance included, code buyable back.

We take on We don't take on
Bespoke HTML showcase sites WordPress, Divi, Elementor, premium themes
Redesigns with a redirect plan "Just change the design" with no audit
Technical and local SEO A guaranteed #1 Google spot
AI readiness (GEO) prep A guaranteed ChatGPT / Perplexity citation
Google Business Profile A promised Local Pack spot
Maintenance of an existing site, after a diagnostic Unlimited support, 24/7 tickets
Craftspeople, small businesses, freelancers, service SMBs SaaS, marketplaces, complex e-commerce

Public prices are on the pricing page: creation €490 / 890 / 1,290 then €39 / 69 / 109 per month; redesign €690 + €59/month; written diagnostic €290, deducted from the first project.

Service area

Where does WebConsulting work?

The studio is based in Dijon (21000), France. In-person meetings remain possible on-site or within roughly 20 km.

The rest of the work happens remotely, in French or English, with anyone reachable online — no country limit, provided scoping happens by form and video call, and the work stays a showcase site or a listed service.

There's no walk-in office. Meetings are by appointment; the address serves legal identity and local grounding, not foot traffic.

How the studio works

One project at a time. No middlemen. The code, the delivery, the maintenance: same studio.

01

Filtering at the door

The project form is mandatory. No quote from a "I want a website, how much?" message. If a project is out of scope, the reply says so clearly.

Form required
02

Response within 48 business hours

No instant turnaround. If that timeline doesn't work for you, another provider will fit better. The quoted price is the billed price.

03

Bespoke production

Static code, content readable without JavaScript, structured data. No page builder, no generic theme.

04

Proof, then rental

Lighthouse ≥ 95/100 at delivery, fixed at no charge below that. You keep the domain, content and photos; the code is rented or bought back via the Freedom Option.

Guaranteed in writing
05

Available after delivery

One email to contact@web-consulting.fr. Reply within 48 business hours. Full detail is on the methodology page.

Written guarantees

No vague promises. Verifiable commitments.

Lighthouse ≥ 95 guaranteed

It's in the T&Cs. After production delivery, it's measured. If it's under 95, it gets fixed at no charge.

Fixed price, never a surprise

The quote is the final price. No hourly billing. No hidden options to uncheck.

Response within 48 business hours

Business days, France. The normal channel is the form, then a written exchange or a 30-minute call.

One single point of contact

You talk to Benjamin M.. Not a salesperson, not a project manager. The person who designs and codes your site.

Two brands, one company

What's the relationship between WebConsulting and SurDijon?

Two brands, one company, one person in charge.

WebConsulting National and French-speaking offer: creation, redesign, SEO, GEO, maintenance
SurDijon Côte-d'Or grounding: same model, same person, local voice

Creation prices are identical on both sites. A Dijon-based client should never find it cheaper "elsewhere with us." If a figure diverges, it's a bug, not a promo.

Verifiable results

Lighthouse ≥ 95 guaranteed by contract

Google indexing within 30 days or the first month of support is free. The studio's projects are public and measurable live: each entry on the projects page includes an active PageSpeed Insights link. Test it yourself.

Existing named reviews are published directly on the studio's Google profile. No quote is reproduced here without an active verification link: that's the only way to stay verifiable during the launch phase.

Frequently asked questions about the studio

We answer everything

Is WebConsulting an agency?

Not in the "team + agency process" sense. It's an independent studio: one person, a short stack, published prices, limited capacity. Everyday language often calls this kind of provider an "agency"; legally and operationally, you contract with Benjamin M., sole proprietor.

Why is the studio so selective?

Because a bad client costs more than a declined quote. Out-of-scope projects, requests for instant turnaround, and sites aimed at "ranking #1 on Google no matter what" are turned away. Portfolio quality beats volume.

Can I meet someone in Dijon?

Yes, by appointment. There's no storefront or public opening hours. The normal channel remains the form, followed by a 30-minute conversation.

Does the founder still code, or does he just oversee?

He codes. He also writes, depending on the plan. There's no one to oversee.

Why say "active since March 2026" if the SIREN dates back to 2013?

Because faking tenure shows. Registration means a business legally exists. The public WebConsulting activity starts in March 2026. Both facts are true; blending them would be an authority fraud.

Want to check whether your project fits?

Describe the business, what exists, the deadline and the goal.

If it's out of scope, the reply will say so clearly. If it fits, you'll get a priced proposal within 48 business hours, not a "it depends on your budget."

Transparency

No affiliate links, no sponsored links, no third-party paid content. Every review, comparison and recommendation reflects Benjamin M.'s direct experience and observable data (Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, Search Console). If this policy changes, this notice will be updated before any change.

What you see is what you get.

WebConsulting is an independent studio, active under this brand since March 2026. The projects shown are real, testable projects. The contractual guarantees (Lighthouse ≥ 95, 30-day indexing) apply from the very first project. This transparency is deliberate: better to be honest about the launch phase than to fabricate false social proof.
